The Local Government Training Institute (LGTI) is a registered training organisation that offers specialised training solutions to Local Government, Industry, and the general public. LGTI delivers training courses at our offices in Thornton NSW (located just outside Newcastle in the Hunter Valley), and can bring training direct to your team on-site.
LGTI also offers distance learning qualifications, designed to meet the unique needs of Council employees, from a Certificate III to Graduate Diploma.
Established in 2001, LGTI is approved by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) to deliver nationally recognised training.
